Investment Options
The Citizenship by Investment Act No. 14 of 2015 and the Citizenship by Investment Saint Lucia Regulations No. 89 of 2015 with their respective amendments, allows an eligible person to acquire citizenship of Saint Lucia pursuant to a successful application and upon the payment of a qualifying investment and signing the Oath of Allegiance.
The Saint Lucia Citizenship by Investment Program (CIP) offers several investment options for those seeking citizenship. Here are the main options:
CONTRBUTION
National Economic Fund
A contribution to the NEF is a non-refundable financial contribution to the country’s socio-economic development.
Single applicant: USD $240,000
Applicant with spouse: USD 140,000
Applicant with spouse and up to two dependents: USD 150,000
Each additional dependent: USD 15,000
Real Estate Investment
Investment in approved real estate projects, such as high-end hotels and resorts or boutique properties.
Minimum investment: USD 200,000
Administrative Fees
Applicant applying alone:
US$ 30,000
Applicant applying with spouse:
US$ 45,000
Each qualifying dependent (18 years of age and over) :
US$ 10, 000
Each qualifying dependent (under 18 years of age):
US$ 5,000
Applicant applying with spouse & more than four dependents:
US$ 10,000
*The administrative fees payable upon the grant of citizenship are non-refundable.
Enterprise Projects
Investment in approved enterprise projects that can include specialty restaurants, cruise ports and marinas, agro-processing plants, pharmaceutical products, ports, bridges, roads, and universities.
Minimum investment: USD 3,500,000 (with at least one other person, each contributing at least USD 1,000,000)
Government Bonds
Purchase of non-interest-bearing government bonds that must be held for a fixed period.
Applicant applying alone or with dependents: USD 300,000
An additional, non-refundable administration fee of US$ 50,000 is applicable.
